Zephyr's Legacy

Elias Harrison, a seventy-three-year-old stable owner, is devastated when his champion racehorse, Zephyr dies suddenly just three weeks before the prestigious Harrison Classic. The loss is compounded by the taunts of his rival Victor Salinger, who suggests that Zephyr's young son Orion could never match his father's greatness. Despite his grief and doubts about the horse's readiness, Elias decides to enter the inexperienced Orion in the race to honor Zephyr's memory. Working alongside his trusted trainer Rowe Davies, they begin an intense training regimen with the anxious, grieving colt.
As the race approaches, strange occurrences begin at Harrison Stables: unlatched doors, mysterious sounds of hoofbeats in the night, and an inexplicable improvement in Orion's performance. Elias and Rowe come to believe that Zephyr's spirit has returned to guide his son, teaching the young horse everything he needs to know for the upcoming race. With Victor employing underhanded tactics, and Alaric, his seemingly invincible black stallion, standing as the overwhelming favorite, Orion must find his own strength, while drawing on his father's wisdom to compete in the most important race of his young life.
