Delays at a canyon in northern Arizona have turned a normal work camp into a bustling small town almost overnight. The town of Cañon Diablo quickly becomes a haven for debauchery, sin, and lawlessness. Those in charge, led by the stalwart Lieutenant Harris, do their utmost to maintain civility and ensure the rail line is finished in the face of a pending blizzard.
The volatile situation is made worse when a creature begins killing people.
Desperate and frightened, the people in town must fight the elements and their own prejudices if they hope to survive and put a stop the blood-thirsty horror.
