Sharon Gainsburg's life as an artist forced her to face her fears and old patterns of seeing and thinking. Together with her 55 years of sculpture create a living gallery, a mirror of her internal exploration of life and her spiritual connection to it.

Initially exploring clay, wood, metal and plaster, she eventually found her home in stone. "Stone is a composite of all the elements: air, fire, water, and earth. It represents the totality of all matter." Throughout Sharon's first-person narrative of a long life as an artist, her message of connecting the here-and-now, raw stone from deep within the Earth, to the universal, the timeless soul in each of us, powerfully reaffirms humanity's ability to not only persevere but overcome and triumph.

WORLDBRIDGER ushers us through each decade of this renowned artist's career and inner journey. Sharon's love affair with stone led her to many unexpected places, like the marble quarries of Michelangelo in Italy, into the classroom to become a teacher of many aspiring artists for nearly 40 years and into the American Southwest with its vast skies and raw land.

At its core, WORLDBRIDGER is a story of consistently overcoming obstacles - both inner and outer - and increasing our ability to positively impact others to overcome theirs.
