First published in 1973, Wolfhart Pannenberg is intended as an introduction for those who do not already know Pannenbergs theology and to discuss some of the problems which it presents for those who do.
Pannenbergs theology of history has already been widely discussed. This is the first work to treat his theology as a wholehis doctrine of man, of history, of God and the Trinity, of Christology and resurrection, of Church and eschatologyshowing how it all hangs together. It presents Pannenbergs work sympathetically but not uncritically. Criticism which others have made are discussed and some new ones offered.
