Giedrius Surplys, a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, former advisor to Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and head of the governmental COVID-19 communication group, ex Minister of Agriculture, ex Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, and ex advisor to Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas, is no stranger to the world of the words.

He was a speechwriter for the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, he worked as a print, TV and radio journalist.

Christianity is not new realm to Giedrius either. He participated in the creation of the Lithuanian Catholic youth magazine "Lux" back in 1999 and worked in the Youth Centre of the Vilnius Archdiocese.

In 2002, he initiated the modern Christian music festival "Sielos" ("Soul's" in Lithuanian) that has been organised for 21 consecutive years. Win is no sin is the author's first book.
