Widowmaker's Mountain

When tragedy strikes at the heart of the Angara Clan, Logee must find help for his loving mate before her time runs out. It is forbidden to have anything to do with humans, but desperation drives Logee to go against their laws, and his father in order to save the mother of his child.

C.J. McCade; a 26 year old women who is desperately searching for her missing husband when he fails to return from Cadre's Peak - aka - Widow Maker's Mountain. C.J. finds herself alone in her journey and sets off to find Jessie on her own, allowing nothing to stand in her way, not even a deadly blizzard.

C.J. is forced to enlist the aid of her ex-boyfriend, Jack Mullins. But; when devastation strikes, C.J discovers that she and Jack should never have parted, and that they never stopped loving each other. Now; she must choose between the man that broke her heart, or the man who saved her.

When Logee comes across a grizzly attacking a human, he makes the damning choice to save it and brings it back to his village, deciding that human's had injured his mate, human's needed to heal his mate.

C.J. finds herself thrust into a very strange place, filled with misery, wonder, and loss. She discovers things she never dreamed possible, even about herself.

Logee's choice has ultimately brought two worlds together. Now he must choose whether to over come his hate for humans, or betray his mate's wishes and kill it.
