Jarod and his brother are enjoying bathtime when something terrible happens: little Cian poops in the tub! Their mom cleans the tub, but bathtime is ruined for the night. A few days later, Jarod and his friend are at the pool ... and it happens again! A mysterious object is found floating in the pool, and swimming is cancelled for the day. To make up for the disappointment, Jarod's mom takes him and his friend to the beach. But at the beach, Jarod discovers there are ways we're polluting the water there, too.
Who Pooped in the Tub? is a delightful, humorous book that tackles the important issue of pollution through the eyes of a child. Jarod learns that it's important not to take away from the enjoyment of others by harming our shared environment. At the end of the day, he's determined never to be the guy who poops in the tub!
It's never too early to start teaching children environmental awareness. This book reminds us that our actions have consequences and that when we pollute the environment everyone loses. But we can make a difference by making good, responsible choices ... such as never pooping in our communal tub!
