Whispering Lies

From the beginning of time, the enemy has been fighting against you knowing who you really are, so you never live the full life you were created to live. The themes of life never change, only time and people. Throughout the generations people have dealt with the lies of addictions, abandonment, being abused, loneliness, feeling unloved and un-worthy. We can choose to live in misery because we don't want to confront the lie and never change. Or we can learn to forgive ourselves and those who've hurt us and release the weight of the lies and the guilt it bears.

In Whispering Lies, writer, author, and motivational speaker Patrice G. Parker uses some 'colorful' women of the bible to provide present day illustrations into how we've allowed ourselves to be deceived throughout generations. It is her hope that what is written will help you:

Whispering Lies encourages young women to overcome adversity by challenging the enemy with the truth of God's word. It allows God to forgive us and remove the burden of those lies.  Then, we can be secure in God's love for us, and that He created us with intent and purpose.
