About Satinder

Satinder's journey in the field of mental health is adorned with recognition and accreditation. A registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), Satinder's affiliations serve as a testament to her unwavering commitment to the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.

Satinder is a member of the BACP Healthcare Executive Division for the four nations - the aim is to promote and support excellence in healthcare counselling/psychotherapy & supervision.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, Satinder's expertise spans over 25 years and encompasses diverse sectors. She has made significant contributions in the Third sector, the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, and the private sector. Her ability to deliver face-to-face and remote counselling, both within the UK & Globally, speaks to her adaptability and unwavering dedication to making mental health accessible to all, transcending borders and cultures.

Satinder's impact continues to amplify as an Individual/Group Clinical Supervisor, where she provides invaluable guidance and support to fellow mental health professionals. Furthermore, as a Reflective Practice Facilitator, she empowers individuals and teams to navigate the complexities of their professional journeys in non-clinical settings, e.g Higher Education, Work Coaches, Legal Professionals, Politicians, Entertainment, Arts & Theatre and Homelessness and Housing.

Satinder's contributions are further enhanced by her role in Coaching, Mentoring, and Clinical Consultancy.
However, it is perhaps in her unique cultural proficiency that Satinder truly shines. Fluent in Punjabi, she navigates conversations with a deep understanding of tradition and culture. This exceptional ability allows her to forge connections, offer guidance and provide not only specialist therapy to clients but also culturally sensitive Clinical Supervision to therapists that resonates on a profound level. She bridges cultural gaps within small communities and understands the nuances of tradition and trauma that shape individuals' experiences. This unique perspective enables her to address issues that arise in small communities, ultimately contributing to healing on a profound level.

Her work, her experience, and her passion come together to create a mosaic of understanding, compassion, and transformation.
