Being mostly comprised of Scripture, this book provides a space to hear God's voice above all others.

Here, God's Word is the main event. Of course, being a guide, you'll be provided with helpful commentary, insights and an easily navigable format. Yet this book's main aim is to hear what God has to say on the matter (as seen in point 2).

The See For Yourself section challenges you to discern the truth about hell for yourself without external influence. You'll be presented with an exhaustive collection of Bible verses on hell and encouraged to highlight which view each Scripture seems to support. These include the verses commonly used in support of the major views on hell (eventual annihilation and eternal torment) to avoid bias. You'll then have the opportunity to tally up your results and discover what the Bible seems to teach before going deeper.

The ESV, KJV, and NRSV are literal word-for-word Bible translations. As we explore the nature of humanity, immortality & hell, the Bible verses are listed in these three translations to provide a fuller view of God's revelation. Besides this, the NIV translation is used for the See For Yourself section to aid understanding.
