The book Virtual Classroom: Opportunities and Challenges analyzes the main obstacles to the effective implementation of digital education, with special attention to the contexts of developing countries such as Mozambique. Based on a qualitative approach and documentary analysis, the study identifies three central categories of difficulties: technical (infrastructure and connectivity), pedagogical (teacher training and methodological adaptation) and psychosocial (motivation, insecurity and digital exclusion).The research shows that the simple introduction of technologies does not guarantee an improvement in learning, and that critical integration is necessary, structured and supported by inclusive policies, continuous training and curricular innovation. The conclusion is that digital transformation in education requires coordinated and systemic action to promote quality, equity and inclusion in virtual education.
