Artificial Intelligence or AI is a branch of computer science that focuses on developing systems that are able to do what would otherwise be handled by human intellect. It is related to the development of algorithms that allow systems to read and interpret huge volumes of data. The contemporary agriculture has been challenged with a number of threats such as the effects of global warming, scarcity of arable land, and the outbreak of pests caused by the changed climate and global trade.
