The novel follows Elbir's transformation from dusty outpost into monstrous metropolis: built on oil, speculation and migration, then sustained by inertia, corruption and myth long after the wells dry up. Glass towers rise over decaying housing blocks, the center devours the periphery, and a gray zone of black markets and forged identities becomes the city's true bloodstream.

Kamil-migrant, outsider, obsessive reader of streets and structures-climbs from scavenger to fixer to political instrument. Fascinated and deformed by Elbir, he organizes street traders, exploits loopholes, betrays allies, and moves between slums, boardrooms and ministries with unnerving, unpredictable motives. As unrest grows and the state turns violent, his talent for navigating the city's invisible networks makes him indispensable-and dangerous.

This is a psychological urban novel in which the real protagonist is the city itself: Elbir as living system, devouring those who try to master it, including the one man who understands its logic too well.
