Adham Saeed, born in Lebanon in 1988, is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Economics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, he voluntarily chose to stay in Wuhan instead of being evacuated. He experienced the entire lockdown period in the city and gave over 100 interviews to international media outlets, presenting facts and refuting rumors during that time.

阿德汉•赛义德，1988年出生于黎巴嫩，现为武汉华中科技大学定量经济学专业博士研究生。新冠肺炎疫情暴发后，他自愿放弃撤侨机会留在武汉，经历了武汉封城全过程，其间接受了100多次国外媒体采访，还原真相，驳斥谣言。

The author of this book personally experienced the entire lockdown process in Wuhan during the COVID-19 pandemic.
