When Michael was a young man, little did he know his life was about to be turned upside down. Even though he had lost his mother during the war, her death tore his heart out. Michael never really recovered from it for years. Though he knew he was different from others as his sixth sense was starting to come to the fore.The war that covered the whole of the planet was devastating, and almost every country had the one bomb that they all wished they had never developed. Life was so hard, and making a living for those who were left, was difficult. When the spirit of his mother appeared to him, his life was about to be turned upside down. Michael was a Martial arts student and potential teacher. His skills were taught to him by a grand master, and that was his very own mother. She told him of a journey he was about to go on, but the biggest shocker of them all, was that he was about to be met by an alien, and she had told him he must go with him and his safety was assured. What she failed to tell him, was that he would fall in love, and end up marrying the very girl he had a crush on for years.Going into space was not the thing that would cross his mind in a million years, but when the alien called his name after a tournament; he reluctantly took his mother's advice and went with him. Gorn was a green lizard looking alien, along with Starbo, the almond shaped head alien, grey looking, and thin in stature. These two would teach, push, and make Michael the best fighter anyone would have seen this side of the spiral arm of the Milky Way. Michael will be trained to the level of supreme champion of the universe, and that was an opportunity he was not about to miss. Like all great men, they are backed by a greater woman.Along the way, Michael would have many tournaments, fighting all types of strange creatures, some from gentle worlds, but most would be part-time pirates and mercenaries. None of them would give an inch, but all would kill if they could. Winning this tournament was everything.At the time, Michael was unaware of a time device that would change not only his life, but the lives of everyone on the planet Earth. Michael, and his now new wife Dawn, had unknowingly spent several years in space, and due to a simulator on board ship, Michael and Dawn were there a few years before they realised that the war and all the destruction, was only a simulation, and an extremely cleverly put together one at that.Little did they know that their parents were in on all of this, and secrecy was paramount. Michael and Dawn must never find out until the end of the very last tournament, though this last one was going to the only one that was real, he had to win to keep the galaxy safe and out the hands of the galaxy's biggest dictator and ruthless killer. This man was human, and his name was Gordon. A power-hungry nemesis that was like a thorn in Michael's side.
