Under a Pulsating Sky

Earth's skies have inspired its great minds for all of human history. Star filled skies are laid over canvases, swirled into ethereal night scenes that we all know and praise. Supernovas and comets are immortalized in paint, bright on their dark altar, pointed to in awe by both the subjects of the painting and the viewers gazing at them centuries later. Our moon, dear Luna, has been our greatest muse. We see so much in her, tell so many tales. Will the full moon bring out our inner beast? Will it reveal the true home of the bamboo-cutter's daughter? Will it shimmer like silver on a dark lake at a lover's secluded meeting?

Each poem is an original work of creativity, drawn from the inspired spirit of the author. Unlike the other collections, these poems resist definition, neither drawing complerely from fact or ancient legend. These poems are here to paint beautiful pictures that may be related to the celestial objects that inspired them, but break away from all boundaries to dream anew.
