Six friends finish a climb in the Himalayas and take shelter in an abandoned farmhouse deep in the Nepali jungle. By night a Bengal tigress circles the walls. By morning she has left her message at the door. Villagers took her cub, and she knows exactly who is inside.
The water is running low. The guide who went for help has not returned. One of them is fading from altitude sickness, and the others are starting to say out loud what they only thought before: that giving up the boy might save them.
Tyger is a short, tense psychological thriller about fear, loyalty and what a group will agree to when survival is on the line. It was inspired by the author's own experience of being tracked by a Bengal tiger in Nepal for four days and nights.
For readers of Into Thin Air, The Snow Leopard and Man-Eaters of Kumaon who want their wilderness with a pulse.
