Twisted

"Some days the poison is on such a slow drip,

we don't even recognize it."

TWISTED, showed up in my journalings early in 2022. Hoodies were made with it and a group of favorite scriptures, to wear at our free book booth at the Town Square on Thursday evenings. Until we were uninvited. One gut punch of many, over the next few years, the enemy would use to send me reeling into a pit of depression.

A depression that birthed some very raw quiet time journalings with God. Many of which, you will read in this book. All of which, leave me completely uncomfortable.

TWISTED is my best attempt at sharing exactly what I believe God has asked me to share. In the hopes that light will shine into someone else's darkness as encouragement in this generation.

"We have to be a generation that stands up and says we were wrong. If we cannot admit the twisted lies, we have not only believed but also passed on, the enemy wins."

"The devil does not come in with horns, a tail, and pitchfork!!!! He shows up on the playground with a tissue box, a shoulder to cry on. Basically, he listens to your wrestling match long enough to know what to kick your butt with later."

Lies and twisted truths are the things we will address in TWISTED. Picked up, handed down, or just allowed in along the way, we only experience the grace offered when we untwist them by spending time with The Truth.
