Turning Point

Come and partake on this journey, a TRUE story, of a young African American Muslim boy as he grows up in an American Society. This young boy, Mustafa, is faced with the reality of being a stranger to his peers, and finds his life bitter with many distasteful events. As he faces adversity, Mustafa begins reflecting on the struggles of his life, and asking a series of questions such as, "Why Me?". The boy then finds himself secluded in his Mosque, during the last 10 days of the blessed Month of Ramadan, in front of the door that would hold all the answers to his questions. After realizing the problem, and breaking away from the compelling chains of peer pressure and societal expectation, Mustafa decides to become that "Stranger" of his own free will, and take the necessary steps towards manhood. By turning his perspective, he's able to view the world in a different and more positive way. Now, we wait to see how his new found dedication towards his faith, and the many life lessons he discovers throughout his endeavors, affect his environment and the people around him.
