Troubles and the Rainy Day Rescue

Troubles has never been afraid of a little rain. In fact, puddles, mud, and strange new smells usually mean the day is about to get interesting. But when a storm rolls through the neighborhood and Troubles hears a frightened sound near a flooded drain, an ordinary rainy afternoon turns into a brand-new Backyard Rescue Club mission.

Lily, Ben, and their friends are ready to stay inside until the weather clears, but Troubles has other plans. With his ears perked, his nose working, and his paws splashing through every puddle in sight, he leads the children toward a tiny puppy trapped where the rainwater is rising fast. What begins as a simple rescue quickly becomes an adventure filled with slippery sidewalks, rushing water, muddy clues, nervous neighbors, and one scared little dog who needs help finding the way home.

As the Backyard Rescue Club works together, the children learn that being brave does not mean never being scared. Sometimes bravery means stepping outside in the rain, helping someone smaller than you, and trusting your friends when the path gets messy. Troubles may not understand every plan the children make, but he knows when someone needs saving. And once his curious nose catches a trail, he will not give up until the job is done.
