Amber, a young girl struggling to process her parents' divorce, a recent move, and her emotionally absent mother, exists at the edge of reality. When she slips through a portal from her small coastal town, she finds herself in the Cats' world, an impossible place where nothing is quite as it seems. The Cats need her to save their island from impending doom. Fail, and she might be trapped in their nonsensical world forever.
