Time for Her Prime

Margaret Xyla and Jean Harris are two very different people, but they are both all too familiar with the feeling of loneliness. Margaret is a resident at the Retirement Home Jean volunteers at, and has many stories of magic and adventure to tell. Margaret insist that these stories of wizards, pirates, and a magical world are true, and due to her dementia, she insists on repeating them so she won't forget.
She fears that if she forgets these stories, she'll forget her missing spouse Mortimer, who she claims was from the magical world she keeps telling people about.
Unfortunately, it's because of these stories that her family never visits her.
Jean Harris, on the other hand, is a teenage girl that's new in town.
Between bullying at school and fights with her mother at home, volunteering at the retirement home is the only peace Jean has.
Jean likes hearing about Margaret's stories, though she doesn't really believe them.
At least, not until Margaret receives a letter from Mortimer, asking her to come to the world of magic and assist them in matters that may affect both worlds.
