This Broken Home is the second volume of published poetry by American Writer Brandon Adam Haven. Building on his first, Into the Grey, the motif of dark, gothic poetry is enlivened and made livid. For the first time, Haven also writes flash fiction, epitomised in short, disturbing stories that include the sinister tale of the Orchard of Monterey and the ghostly account of Marybelle Lynn. Many of the themes of Into the Grey are revisited in This Broken Home, a collection of works that will firmly establish Haven as a choice poet and writer in the dark genre of literature.
