Things long Forgotten

Sierra never fit the mold of high society that her parents always wanted her to fit in. But with the discovery of a long-lost type of elves while studying history at the Academy, she really didn't fit the mold her parents wanted for her. She and her friend both worked on the same project and found that the supposedly long- lost elves they were studying, weren't actually long lost but existed still just hidden deep in the southern desert and the northern forests out of sight of everyone else.
When an accidental meeting of the very elves they are studying turns into a revelation later on of their being bonded to those very elves, Sierra is warned that because of the severity of her separation illness could mean that she is bound to an elf that just might hold a special place in the future. Sierra ignores the warning, but quickly finds that the warning had been correct and now she and her partner must figure out how to be royal.
Ryken knows he's in charge of the little village of Meca Vin elves around him and does what is needed, never mind his older brother brushing his part of the work aside. But things change for Ryken when he finds himself bonded to a human and there haven't been any such bondings for hundreds of years. But there's more to his history than just the fact that all the Meca Vin have lost most of their history in the great fall several generations ago. He himself is of one of those long ago royal lines and he will now be in charge of not only the Meca Vin people but all elf kind. The task is daunting and he and Sierra must both figure things out along the way or the magic could make them pay dearly.
