Mermaids, penguins, whales, ants - will Lisa ever find her way to school?
Who wants to go to school? Who wouldn't rather play all day? Lisa has one problem, her pesky parents that think school is important. That's okay, she just needs to find the best possible reason to not go to school today.....
A mermaid in her bathtub, penguins in her freezer, teachers eaten by tigers. As Lisa's reasons get wilder and wilder, she finds ever more excuses to keep her at home.
What will be the turning point to help her get to school today?
There's a MERMAID in my bathtub is the first imaginative adventure from Kim Bonner. Perfect for children worried or nervous about school, the creative excuses and hilarious situations will create secret humor for those tough days when the path to the school gate feels endlessly long.
If your kids like What If Everyone Did That? by Ellen Javernick, I Am Not Going to Get Up Today by Dr Seuss or The Pigeon HAS to Go to School by Mo Willems, they'll laugh themselves silly with There's a MERMAID in my bathtub.
Buy your copy and enjoy the best excuses you'll ever hear to not go to school today.
