The Unsupressed Truth

The purpose and scope of this book are to systematically present sound biblical doctrine in a way that hopefully inspires you to seek God’s truth rather than man’s philosophy (Colossians 3:1-4). As you read through the chapters, you will be presented with systematic doctrines followed by a final chapter containing concluding remarks. Each system is arranged in a foundationally progressive order that builds on the previous chapter without abandoning or replacing anything from the first. Much like a house being built on a rock, the rock we start with is the Word of God (the Bible). The following are the systematic doctrines and what each one is about:

• The Word of God – The Bible’s authority, inerrancy, infallibility, and our need.

• Salvation – How God reconciles man through Christ and the Holy Spirit.
• Angels and Demons – Angels and demons are discussed.
• Church – Structure, offices, authority, and mission according to the Bible.
• Fulfilment of All Things – What the Bible says about the end times.
• Establishing a Biblical Worldview – Christian ethics and applying the Bible to life.
