The Tuscarora Trail

Over fifty years have elapsed since the end of the Vietnam War. The effects of the Covid pandemic has finally waned and two old soldiers once again tackle a long distance hike along the Tuscarora Trail from Virginia through West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Along the way they reminisce about their times in Vietnam together those many years ago. Along the rugged trail they hike with young people and share their stories of that long ago war and offer their fatherly advice to inexperienced hikers that they meet. It is a cathartic experience for both of them as they share life experiences.
They tell stories about that distant war and meet fellow veterans along the way, sharing their stories and their traditional "Welcome Home" to their fellow veterans.
This novel is the final book in the Paul Tyler "Vietnam Advisor series". It allows the reader closure on some of the previously told stories. As a long-distance backpacker, it provides the reader with a wonderful overview of the beautiful and rugged 250 mile alternate to the Appalachian Trail.
