THE THIRD OPTION

Thinking for yourself can be painful. It might be that when you apply logic, observation and discernment to your story and the world you see around you, it will clash with what you have been taught to believe on pain of punishment. Almost everyone has inside them a deep fear of being hanged as a witch or having their head chopped off or being crucified if they dare to question the habitual patterns of thought and behavior in their social environments. It is why some people feel compelled to retreat to the wilderness or the ashrams or just isolate in their homes. In the open air and the safety of your own four walls you may think and do what appeals to you; in the cradles and the churches and the schools you become the tools of those who would train you to think like them. And then you must hide your true self away behind lock and key, and never go near that dark room again, for fear of incurring the wrath of your parents and family, or the shame of calling them wrong.
It is time now for the brightest and the best to stand up tall, for there is a call that is going out to rise up and look over the wall and see that they and their brethren have been too long deluded and denuded of their authenticity. It is up to you. It is up to you. Only you can grow, and only you can know what it is that you need to grow. It is time for humanity to come out of the dark mines and face the sunlight; to come out of the darkened minds and stand face-to-face with their own inner heart-light.
