The Temple

James Hudson was an absent dad, abandoning his wife and young child, Paige nearly twenty years ago. However, when Paige Hudson receives a letter summoning her across the country to California, she learns of her father's death and is requested to arrive in Beverly Hills for the reading of her father's will.

Twenty-two year old Paige Hudson leaves her life and career behind in New Jersey but is excited to learn more about her father and find some closure. However, her father's will has a strange clause: to claim his wealth, she must become a high priestess of a mysterious, mystic cult.

A tall, cavernous man in a golden robe meets her at the airport. His head is shaved, and from his ears golden hoops gleam. "You are Paige Hudson?" he asks. His bearded face smiles in welcome, but his black eyes do not...

When they arrive at her father's sprawling, ancient mansion, she is to learn that it is a shrine: The Temple. Confused and intimidated, Paige meets more of her father's strange followers--and she questions each of them and their past relationship with her father. She must learn the truth; she must know who and what her father had been.

Soon, she will see for herself...for in the Temple's meeting room where purple veils drape at the altar, her father's ghostly image appears. Can Paige believe her father is now a phantom that wanders through the ancient Temple as his maniacal laughter beckons her through the dark corridors? Is he still the leader of this dark circle whose members seem to die rather mysteriously?
