The Taste of Defeat

A brilliant mind. A chain of impossible deaths. And a poisoned countdown.

When a series of disconcerting murders shakes Madrid to its core, two of the finest detectives in Spain, UCO Lieutenant Pablo Roncero and police officer Francisco Bermejo, take on a case that is as meticulous as it is disturbing.
Every crime feels like a twisted tribute to a classic detective novel and each scene brings a new type of provocation. An unfair fight, where the killer always seems to be one step ahead.

Meanwhile, Miriam Monfort is trapped in a web of secrets, where it becomes hard to tell fiction from reality. Real poisons mixed with former fears. Where the enemy can make a story into a lethal weapon.

Nicknamed Poison by the press, the criminal leaves behind a trail of bodies and encrypted messages that defy logic, ethics, and the very concept of justice. But who is pulling the strings in this battle between good and evil?

Dive into a gripping saga of suspense, intrigue, and action set in Spain that will put your instincts to the test.
