The Stolen Princess

In the wake of Florid's wrath, the merking is dead, and the merqueen is in a deep sleep no one can wake her from. Via is torn between her life with the merfolk and her new life with fairy wings. Her need to bring Florid to justice is her guiding force, and the fairies embark on an adventure that will take them across regions unknown and into the realm of the Old World.

Florid is distracted by her troubles within the castle walls, as her past haunts her and pushes away the one soul she cares for. The daughter Florid raised alone, is restless and tired of her mother's tirades against fairies and merfolk. She has played her mother's game for too long and finally had enough.

Something else is brewing inside each princess as they reach their thirteenth birthday, forces inside them are awakened and realized. The Prophecy of Peace is revealed, and the presence of ancient souls have returned to help guide the young princesses. But not everyone is a willing participant, and the bonds of the sea and air are delicately woven.

As truths and connections are forged between worlds, Via realizes that she can survive in this world above the sea. With her new friends by her side, they will pursue Florid and hold the red woman accountable for her actions, no matter the cost.
