The Starlancer Chronicles

Claire thought starting junior high meant letting go of the fairytales she had daydreamed about when growing up in uneventful Ashland, Oregon. That belief is shattered on the first day of school when she and her friend Jia witness the crash of an otherworldly craft and are blasted off on an action-packed adventure to the other side of a star.
