The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

On a Friday they nailed Him to a cross, laid Him in a borrowed tomb, sealed the stone, and set a guard. By every human reckoning, it was finished. Then - early on the first day of the week - the stone was rolled away, the tomb stood empty, and a crucified man walked out alive. The world has never been the same.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a seminary-level study written for the academy, the pulpit, and the pew alike: a careful, reverent examination of the best-attested miracle in history. It walks through all four resurrection Gospels, weighs the empty tomb and the long roll of eyewitnesses, and traces the transformation of the Twelve from frightened deserters into fearless martyrs - for no one dies for what he knows to be a lie. It answers the alternative theories one by one, and shows why the evidence has never been explained away.

Here is exegesis, history, and theology made plain: the Greek words that carry the gospel, a lexicon for the reader, six addenda for deeper study, a fifteen-week teaching framework, and a single, blazing conclusion - the tomb is empty, Jesus is alive, and because He lives, death itself has been defeated.

Whether you are a pastor preparing to preach, a student wrestling with the evidence, a skeptic asking honest questions, or a believer longing to know the power of His resurrection, this book invites you to do one thing: Come and see the place where He lay.
