The OtherWorlders

The fantasy world of MoonShadow takes you to a place that you thought you knew, but it isn't quite like the reality here, the citizens are very strange and dangerously magical. Welcome to the microcosm of the OtherWorders: Where humans share their world with creatures of myth and legend. It's a world where everything you never believed could exist does, and they are living and working among humans, unnoticed. Eighteen years ago one of the Fates (the Moerae) made a blunder that unfortunately caused a baby to be stolen from his wizard parents. That child was raised by faerie-folk. But he knows nothing of his past ... or that his parents aren't human. Robin Bottum thinks he's just a normal eighteen-year-old, but he's wrong. Because the Moerae (Fate) have shanghaied him into being a part of a coven of thirteen witches on a quest he knows nothing about. Soon he'll find himself at the centre of a heist for a very powerful and magical artefact. Oh, and did I mention that the other witches of the coven are less than pleased to have him on their side? Especially the High Priestess - who hates the idea of a male witch on principle. (Except maybe the quirky one he's fallen head over heels for.) Rob must use his guile - the heart of a hero - to overcome hungry werewolves, malevolent elves, a cunning goblin, a gangster dragon, a whole stronghold of zombies, and a dark sorcerer with a horde of evil faeries, and a vicious human - and all of them want to see his demise!
