The Mal Series - Volume 4

The Second Half of the "Record of Zylast" Arc of "The MAL Series," recording the story of a disgraced soldier and his continuous clashes with a mad scientist and a rogue operative from a demonic organization.

Book 9: The Rise of Darkevon
After The Heroes heed the call to the Light Zy Temple, their Creator charges them with defeating a man named Darkevon, who has defied the laws of Life and Death by stealing the Resurrection Sword from the depths of the fiery Underworld. The Heroes must deal with an army of the Undead as well as a mysterious Shapeshifter while investigating the Covenant between Darkevon and a malevolent being known simply as the "Dark Power."

Book 10: The War of the Villains
Malax resurfaces with an army of Demons to wage war against Darkevon and his Zombies as well as Dr. Game Over and his robots. Gladia, the Immaculate Daughter of the Light Zy, joins The Heroes, acting as Alastor's weapon and guide as they travel across Shadow-Land, spying on the Three Villains and rescuing the potential victims of their all-out war.

Book 11: The Shards of the Platinum Crown
Malax, Darkevon, and Babylyn unite to destroy The Heroes and reassemble the Platinum Crown on behalf of their new Master, Dr. Game Over, who wishes to adorn himself with the symbol of dominance and become the most powerful villain in the world. The Heroes must deal with robots, Demons, Zombies, and each other in their effort to thwart the Villains' plans and restore Light to Shadow-Land.

Book 12: Mal's Invasion
After five years of waiting, The Heroes return to the Light Zy Temple and team up with an old friend, as well as their own enemies, to compete in Mal's twisted game. In their final bid to confront Mal's forces, both The Heroes and Villains of the Record of Zylast Arc struggle to free their world from the Malevolent All-Powerful Liberator's intergalactic tyranny.
