The Invitation

Everyone is talking about AI. But what actually is it?

When curious Jane discovers AI, she imagines Algi the Algorithm to help her make sense of it all. But when Jane doesn't get invited to a birthday party, not even Algi has the answer she's really looking for.

A playful first introduction to AI, showing kids why AI works best with clear, kind questions, and when to reach for a friend instead of a screen.

Helping children understand AI, one story at a time.

Jane, Fred & Algi the Algorithm introduces young readers to artificial intelligence through an engaging, relatable story about curiosity, technology and friendship.

Through Jane's adventures, children are encouraged to:

• Discover what artificial intelligence is and how it works in simple, age-appropriate language.
• Explore why asking clear and kind questions matters when interacting with AI.
• Understand that AI can be a helpful tool, but it cannot replace human connection.
• Think about when to turn to a trusted person instead of technology.

Created for curious young minds, this illustrated children's book offers parents, caregivers and educators a starting point for conversations about AI and the growing role of technology in children's lives.
