The Hit

A celebrity's time in the lime-light is short, but for Halen Kettleman it could be cut much shorter. Being a Miami socialite and a spectacle amid lavish parties, Halen is oblivious to the threat lurking in plain sight. Snubbing her next acting job to join a group of friends for a ski trip to Montana, she continues to seek the thrills of her carefree lifestyle, inadvertently giving endless material to the gossip magazines.

Tracer is just a random face in the background. His current contract to kill a celebrity doesn't faze him. He's killed others who were more guarded than this girl was. She would be an effortless target and a hefty payday. Her clueless friends wouldn't pose a problem making this job an easy score-until an element from the past comes to light, challenging Tracer to reevaluate his career and the morals he'd suppressed for decades.

With a hit man on the loose and  the storm of the decade barreling into the Rocky Mountains, death awaits anyone who isn't vigilant. Will Halen realize she's being hunted before the hit man can strike, or will the icy claws of nature imprison her, making her a permanent fixture in the frozen wilderness?
