Daniel's heart started racing. He didn't dare move. He'd done this before, many times. The moment he moved, the girl would vanish. He'd never seen her face, just a dark shape looming over him. It was always the same - she'd appear at 2:13 AM, watch him for a few seconds, and then disappear.
