The Fugitive Prince

Prince. Gentleman. Murderer.

The Kingdom of Arestea is reeling after the sudden death of its monarch, the controversial but charismatic King Alec. And though the infamous assassin the Black Lily is no doubt to blame, rumors swirl that she had assistance from a most unlikely source: the king's unassuming younger brother, Crown Prince Adrian, inexplicably seduced by evil and fallen from grace.

Unfortunately for Adrian, the rumors are at least partly true, and having his brother's blood on his hands is just the start of his problems. Now Adrian and Lily are on the run across the realm, dodging the law, her former Guild of assassins, and their complicated feelings for each other.

Their last, desperate hope is to find Adrian's only remaining family member, an exiled and secretive uncle who will hopefully be willing to listen to their side of the story and help wrest the throne back from the duplicitous Duke Liam.

But all is not well in the royal capital either. As Liam consolidates his new power and begins the next phase of his realm-shaking scheme, an ancient threat slowly emerges from the shadows of history - one that could not only ruin the plans of royals and regent alike, but drown the entire nation in a tide of blood and death.
