Among these, the Cambodian genocide stands as a particularly stark and harrowing example of ideological extremism leading to systematic destruction and unimaginable suffering. This book seeks to unravel the complex tapestry of events that led to "Year Zero," the brutal implementation of a radical vision for society, and its devastating aftermath.
