The Feather Picker (2026) tells a captivating story about a mythical figure, his alter ego, a parrot, and their lives within a larger community of nearby villages. When a largely farming population shifted to the more profitable logging industry, the effects of years of exploiting nature became clear. With no humans leading efforts to control deforestation and its effects, the parrot took on an impossible task. Raising awareness had to start somewhere, so the parrot had no choice but to enlist its companion, the Feather Picker, for support. This, in itself, was no easy feat, as it nearly strained their decades-long relationship. Ultimately, reason triumphed over mediocrity, and the greater good was prioritized over selfishness. The sacrifice of one became a blessing for many. An overall mythical story, with its twists and turns, has elements that resemble real life. The Feather Picker (2026) is the eighth book in the 'Sculpture Garden' series.
