The Defender

Simon was the orphaned son of Kadmiel, leader of the despised zealots haunting the provincial way of life in Judea. Forced to confront the implications of tragedy at far too young an age, Simon is stripped of his childhood innocence. With a zeal to become the man his father always envisioned him to be, Simon has no choice but to join the rebel band hiding out in the caves of En Gedi.
