They come as culture. They come as traditions. They come as minute interactions from birth and linger long after a person resolves into death.
Henry has struggled his whole life with debilitating migraines that come as voices, chittering, chatting, and screaming from some darkness that he has always believed was in him. Maybe it is. Maybe instead, it comes from a source greater than himself. From a place where singing, language, and voices, have no perch, no place to land. From a place of omniscience and the idea of individual words, spoken across time would not be possible.
Once others realize what power he possesses, he becomes a target to forces that want that power and those that would destroy him to keep it from the world.
One man, Aaron, will try to save Henry. Another, Francis, would be willing to reignite the inquisition to stop him.
