Two ancient prophecies. One reluctant hero.

The beginning of a saga that spans a lifetime.

In the frozen silence of the Arctic, an Inuk elder hears a whisper of destiny. Beneath the heat of the West African sun, an Igbo elder guards a secret scroll. Both foretell the rise of a child who will bridge ancient wisdom with modern power-a child born of strangers to the north.

That child is Ebuka Eze.

Born in Ottawa to immigrant parents, Ebuka is a quiet prodigy who sees the hidden connections in the world-from the broken circuits of a radio to the systemic bias in a school's algorithm. But genius is a lonely burden. To build the future he envisions, Ebuka must first find his people: Ryan, the pragmatist who builds the bones; Amélie, the artist who gives the vision a soul; and Liam, the conscience who grounds them in the earth.

Together, they are "The Architects of Tomorrow," a team of young innovators who challenge the status quo, from healing a poisoned river to exposing a corrupt educational AI. But their victories attract dangerous attention. As Ebuka rises from a local hero to a national symbol, he catches the eye of Sterling Industries, a ruthless corporation that sees his "empathy engine" not as a tool for connection, but as a weapon of control.

The Chosen of the North - Book 1: Roots of Destiny is a hard science fiction drama and the beginning of an epic tetralogy exploring the intersection of technology, culture, and moral choice. It is the story of how a boy became a legend-and the price he paid to build a better world.

Perfect for fans of expansive sci-fi sagas, technothrillers, and character-driven origin stories like Ender's Game.
