A chilling thriller about a small-town sheriff and his new rookie deputy. Deputy Tim Carmichael and his wife Rachelle had moved from Ohio to Arkansas, hoping to escape the cold winters and to heal from his father's recent suicide. But there's a serial killer in their small community of Bluff County and the sheriff and his new deputy are at their wits end trying to catch him. When Deputy Carmichael's wife Rachelle disappears, Sherriff Jim Brown and his deputy have to race against time to find her. They bring in seasoned homicide detective Carl Gonzalas to assist in the investigation. The stress from the cases and his PTSD from his time in Vietnam prove to be too much for the sheriff. The body count keeps going up and Tim finds himself facing the killer alone. And when he finds out who the killer is, it changes all of their lives forever.
