The Archive of Lost Memories

"The Archive of Lost Memories" is a novel that combines elements of psychological thriller, contemporary narrative, and fantasy, set in the evocative city of Matera.

Eleonora Vallirti, a young restorer of ancient books, accidentally discovers the existence of the Archive while working on a damaged medieval manuscript. Through text fragments and cryptic illustrations, she realizes there is a place where people can deposit memories too painful to carry with them. When her twin brother, with whom she has always shared an almost telepathic bond, begins to exhibit increasingly worrying memory lapses, Eleonora suspects he may have visited the Archive to forget something traumatic...

"The Archive of Lost Memories" is not just a psychological thriller but a dizzying journey into the depths of the human soul, exploring profound themes such as the relationship between memory and identity, the value of oblivion and reminiscence, and family ties that transcend even the loss of memories.

Memory is a double-edged sword, and oblivion, the most dangerous of illusions.
