This is a short dream story written as a letter.

One night, a quiet jewelry archive appears. An old man, a gold sunflower coin, and a door that closes into light. What follows is not an explanation, but a memory told exactly as it was experienced.

Written for the author's girlfriend, this story explores closeness without contact, presence without access, and the way dreams allow us to follow someone we love even when we cannot reach them.

This is not a metaphor.

This is a dream.
