The Animals I Feed...On

In 2035, extreme weather increasingly frequent and severe strikes, leaving the world barren, where wildlife no longer exists. How should we view and treat animals...as test subjects...as entertainment...and...as food?

Follow our protagonist Grace Sarah Merce and her interactions with animals. In Chapter 1, she conducts animal experiments while grappling with the ethical implications of her work. In Chapter 2, she works at a mall zoo and witnesses the mistreatments and exploitations within. In Chapter 3, she genetically modifies animals to be heat-and cold-resistant. Inspired by Mike Resnick's "Old MacDonald Had A Farm" and extended from its prequel I Had A Farm, this book is going to take you on a roller coaster exploring animal rights and environmental ethics.
