Evan doesn't remember being taken-only waking inside a facility built to turn kids into something they're not. Every day is drills, evaluations, and "conditioning," monitored by silent handlers who call them by numbers instead of names.

When a system glitch exposes encrypted messages in the facility's network, Evan discovers the unthinkable: the world outside isn't gone...and the kids inside aren't as alone as they were taught to believe.
