The 80/20 Company

Find the money already inside your company.

The 80/20 Company is Bill Canady's complete map of the thousand days in one volume, for CEOs, owners and leadership teams who want the whole method in a direct, practical form.

Segment. Simplify. Zero-Up. Grow.

Start with the customers and products that earn the money. Find the profitable core, remove costly complexity, and put people and capital behind the work that deserves to grow. Use material margin, the Right to Grow ratio and profit velocity to make the decisions visible.

Follow Hollis Fluid Components, a composite industrial company, through the work: the first thirty days, the Day 100, Day 365 and Day 730 gates, the operating plan, monthly and quarterly reviews, and the choices that build a company worth buying.

Put It to Work: Pages from The Field Guide gives you a starting set of exercises inside the book. The separate companion, The 80/20 Company - The Field Guide, holds all 44 worksheets, with Hollis's completed examples beside the blanks.

The 1000-Day CEO series goes deeper into the same thousand days across four books. The 80/20 Company gives you the complete map in one.

Thinking is required.
